To build up physical fitness and prepare for the new season of the China League Two, from January 8th to January 21st, Guangxi Hengchen conducted winter training at the Jiuling Lake training base in Guigang, with retained players, new signings, and trial players participating together.
On January 8th, after arriving at the Jiuling Lake training base, the team immediately started a two-week physical fitness training. According to the coaching staff's training plan, the players engaged in aerobic, anaerobic, and anaerobic high-intensity combined with ball confrontation and group confrontation. On January 17th and January 20th, they played two instructional matches against Langfang Glory City, who were also training at Jiuling Lake, ultimately defeating the opponents with scores of 4-1 and 1-0, showing a good form. Langfang Glory City is the champion of the 2023 China League, and Hengchen has faced them in the finals before.
The coaching staff is very satisfied with the team's performance over the past two weeks. Head coach Wang Jun stated that the players showed high enthusiasm and dedication in training, with a strong sense of collective integration, and the training effect was very good.
As planned, after a three-day rest, the team will head to Sanshui, Foshan for further training, where they will have warm-up matches against several professional teams.
