Heading to Foshan for training camp and friendly matches with multiple teams

This afternoon, more than 30 members of the Guangxi Pingguo Haliao football team, led by head coach Gabriele, boarded the high-speed train bound for Foshan, Guangdong. They will begin the second phase of winter training at the Sanshui Football Training Base. The focus of this phase of training is the combination of competition and training. The team will play friendly matches against teams at various levels, especially those in the Chinese Super League, to regain match fitness and accelerate the integration process between the head coach, the team, and the newly joined players to form combat effectiveness as soon as possible. The team is expected to return to Pingguo at the end of February for the final preparations before the league begins.

After the arrival of Spanish head coach Mr. Gabriele and his coaching staff, they introduced a new tactical coaching philosophy and adopted advanced training methods. Moroccan foreign player Banmu and Brazilian foreign player Giovanni have arrived successively. Banmu has shown good form in training, while Giovanni underwent self-strengthening training before coming to China and is in good physical condition. Another Dutch foreign player, Havier, will join the team in the near future. On the domestic player front, the club has reached preliminary agreements with several players who will join the team in the new season, bringing new vitality to the team.

According to the plan, the Guangxi Pingguo Haliao football team will play a series of friendly matches at the Sanshui Football Training Base in Foshan. The confirmed matches include: playing against Guangzhou Leopards on January 27, facing Cangzhou Lions on January 30, competing against Henan team on February 2, and playing against Foshan South Lions (formerly Dongguan Guanlian team) on February 7. Through these warm-up matches and training sessions, the team will evaluate the results of the first phase of training, help players regain match fitness, allow the new head coach to familiarize himself with the players quickly, and accelerate the integration process between the head coach, the team, and the newly joined players. After the match on February 7, the whole team will have a holiday to celebrate the Chinese New Year, while the foreign coaching staff will return to Spain for a period. The team is expected to regroup on February 13 (the fourth day of the Lunar New Year) to continue preparations. The regrouping location will be either in Sanshui, Foshan or Haikou, and they will play against several Chinese Super League teams to consolidate the training results, finalize the main lineup, and get into match form. The team is expected to return to Pingguo at the end of February for the final preparations before the league begins.
